How s80 Two-Factor Authentication Protects Your Account
When you create an account on s80, we collect your email address and phone number during KYC verification. These details become your recovery channels. If someone tries to log in with your password from an unfamiliar location or device, our system flags the attempt and sends a one-time code to your email or phone. You enter that code to complete login. Without it, the login fails.
This is standard practice across banking and gaming platforms. We do not store your password in plain text; we hash it. We do not share your email or phone with third parties. Your data stays encrypted in transit and at rest.
Login Flow on s80 Mobile
Open the s80 app on Android or iOS. Enter your email and password. If the device is new or you cleared your browser cache, we send a code to your registered email within seconds. Paste the code into the verification field. You are logged in.
On desktop, the flow is identical. If you use the same browser and device repeatedly, we may remember it for 30 days, so you skip 2FA on subsequent logins. You can disable this in your account settings under "Trusted Devices."
When s80 Requires Two-Factor Authentication
We enforce 2FA in these scenarios:
- First login after account creation
- Login from a new device or browser
- Login after you reset your password
- Login after 30 days of inactivity
- Withdrawal request from a new payment method
- Changes to your registered email or phone number
If you try to log in and do not receive a code, check your email spam folder or contact our support team. We respond to account-access requests within standard business hours.
Keep Your Recovery Email and Phone Updated
If you change your phone number or email, update it in your s80 account settings immediately. A stale recovery address means you cannot receive 2FA codes and may be locked out during withdrawal or password reset.
Two-Factor Authentication Across Payment Methods
When you deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet, your payment provider handles its own authentication. s80 does not see your payment credentials. However, when you request a withdrawal to your mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet account, we verify your identity via 2FA before processing the transfer. This protects you from unauthorized withdrawals.
During Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, or Imlek holidays, payment processing may take longer due to bank closures. We still require 2FA for every withdrawal, regardless of the season or event.
Managing Your 2FA Settings
Log into your s80 account and navigate to Settings → Security. You will see your registered email and phone number. You can:
- Update your email: Enter a new email address. We send a verification code to both the old and new addresses. Confirm both to complete the change.
- Update your phone: Enter a new phone number. We send an SMS code to the new number. Confirm it to activate.
- Manage trusted devices: View devices that have logged in recently. Remove any device you no longer use.
- Reset your password: Change your password anytime. The next login will require 2FA.
If you lose access to your recovery email or phone, contact our support team with proof of identity. We will verify your account and help you regain access.
Two-factor authentication is not optional on s80. It is how we ensure your account, your funds, and your game history remain yours alone.
2FA on Desktop vs. Mobile
Our desktop browser experience and mobile app use the same 2FA system. The difference is convenience. On mobile, you can receive SMS codes directly to your phone. On desktop, codes arrive via email. Both are equally secure.
If you play football betting during Liga 1 matches or join live roulette tables from your phone, 2FA happens in the background after your first login. Subsequent logins on the same device may skip 2FA for 30 days, depending on your settings.
We recommend keeping 2FA enabled at all times, especially if you access s80 from public Wi-Fi or shared devices. You can always disable the 30-day trusted-device window in your security settings.
Why We Use Two-Factor Authentication
Passwords alone are not enough. Hackers use credential-stuffing attacks, phishing, and data breaches to steal login details. 2FA adds a second barrier: even if someone has your password, they cannot log in without your email or phone.
On s80, your account holds your deposit balance, your game history, and your withdrawal settings. Protecting it is our priority and yours.
